We left Salt Lake Lake around 10:00 a.m. driving up through Evanston to Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park. The drive itself was pretty boring, except for the hundreds of cattle lining the road...being moved to their winter pasture.
We rolled into Jackson around 3:00 p.m. and decided to check-in at the hotel and grab some lunch before heading on to Grand Teton.
We stayed at the Trapper Inn and it was deluxe. It was supposed to be under construction, but both new buildings were completed and they were very, very nice. If you find yourself in Jackson, I'd recommed staying there.
After lunch we headed out to Grand Teton National Park
We drove the scenic loop, saw a herd of elk,
and a lot of other beautiful scenery.
The day was perfectly timed with us arriving back in Jackson, just as it was getting dark. A little dinner, a little, souvenir shopping and back to the hotel for bed.
