I've finished:
The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
A story set in the 1960's south. A young girl runs away from an abusive father after breaking her black "nanny" out of jail for spitting at some white men. She heads to Tiburon, the only clue she has about her mother. I thought it was a heartfelt, touching, honest look at the South and how love can cross any racial lines. 336 pages
Rage by Jonathon Kellerman
The latest in his Alex Delaware series. It was pretty much what I've come to expect from him. I was, however, disappointed in the resolution. 384 pages
